1)       SOAR is an early launch professional development program for young women who have proven their readiness to advance within their company.

2)       SOAR is gender specific to support and develop women and their uniqueness in the workplace.  The need for this is evidenced­ by research conducted by Harvard, Catalyst and others.
3)       SOAR is designed for a specific and targeted audience to insure commonalities that enrich the programming.
 
4)       SOAR focuses on building female leadership capacity for the member’s company.

5)       SOAR’s formulated and integrated curriculum teaches leadership skills based on marketplace input.

6)       SOAR purposely limits the number of participants to insure small and effective coach-to-member  ratios.

7)       SOAR meetings are held in each city, not regional venues, offering an immediately accessible professional network of women peers and role models from other companies.

8)       SOAR trainers and coaches are professional and experienced facilitators.

9)       SOAR provides long-term professional development through continued opportunities for life-long learning and networking.

10)   SOAR provides a class leadership challenge project to “pay it forward” in the community positively impacting women and girls through See Jane Give.
